BET Social Award winning Comedian teams up with Rihanna for FENTY Beauty
Blameitonkway is Fenty Beauty newest brand ambassador
-Los Angeles, California – Social media sensation Blameitonkway lends his ever popular, funny and charismatic character “TiTi” to Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty campaign. The super fun and vibrant commercial begins with the tagline “My Fenty, My Mood” which captures the dynamic personality of TiTi as she shares her favorite Fenty lipstick shades. In classic Titi form, she doesn’t fail to sale the product and entertain at the same time. This collaboration was a match made in comedic beauty heaven.
If you may remember, Rihanna surprised BlameitonKway for his birthday back in 2016 in the “Hey K-Way, its your girl Riri…” viral video which eventually led to them meeting later on that year backstage at her show. Seeing as Rihanna has one of the biggest cosmetic brands Fenty and Blameitonkway is currently the biggest social media comedic personality this collaboration is the perfect marriage.
“Knowing that Rihanna is fan of mine still to this day is the perfect stamp of approval. Someone so big, so busy has taken the time out to notice and appreciate my content, thats HUGE. Im forever grateful and will continue to produce my best body of work…” – Kwaylon Rogers (@Blameitonkway)
The minute long commercial will debut on Rihanna’s personal IG page @badgalriri at 10:00 AM pst followed by Kway’s social media platforms @Blameitonkway and then begin to dominate the social media airways.
The award winning comedian born Kwaylon Rogers is from Dallas, Texas and at the very beginning, he was known for his unforgettable jokes and being the class clown. Wanting to escape poverty and provide his family with more, Kway was determined to make his love for comedy his way of living. Kway was always the class clown and loved making people laugh including his teachers who tried their best not to allow his humor to disrupt the classroom. Kway took his talents to Instagram when his mother told him “Everything he touches turns golden” Kway’s first viral video was his impersonation of Supermodel Tyra Banks with her favorite line “Bring it down 3 more notches” from her hit show America’s Next Top Model. Overnight Kway was a star and he continued down his comedic path collaborating with his sister on videos and creating his infamous character “TiTi.” Titi was an immediate hit! She represented women who get over looked, don’t feel pretty and often struggle with relationship, friendship and family issues. Kway’s Titi character became such a hit! That fans started booking Kway all over the world! Yes the world! Titi was booked at Dubai Fashion Week and was well accepted despite the religious views surrounding men dressed as women and vice versa. Kway’s accomplishments also include having a #1 app in the ios app store “TitiMoji” and launching several sock, pillow and t shirts with Titis face which sell out overnight!! Kway is just getting started and he is our modern day Tyler Perry (Madea). Kway (TiTI), has received praises and mentioned as a favorite by superstars Rihanna, Cardi B, Kylie Jenner, 2 Chains and Drake just to name a few. Kwaylon was recently crowned BET Social Awards Comedian of the Year.
About Fenty Beauty
Before she was BadGalRiRi: music, fashion and beauty icon, Robyn Rihanna Fenty was a little girl in Barbados transfixed by her mother’s lipstick. The first time she experienced makeup for herself, she never looked back. Makeup became her weapon of choice for self-expression—a way to radiate her ever-changing mood—and it powered a fearless take on beauty that helped her become the boundary-breaking icon she is today. Rihanna was inspired to create Fenty Beauty after years of experimenting with the best-of-the-best in beauty—and still seeing a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones. She launched a makeup line “so that women everywhere would be included,” focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades.
Fenty Beauty products are designed to feel lightweight, even as they deliver buildable coverage that effortlessly layers, to ultimately “make skin look like skin.” Most importantly, Rihanna creates makeup to inspire: “Makeup is there for you to have fun with,” she says. “It should never feel like pressure. It should never feel like a uniform. Feel free to take chances, and take risks, and dare to do something new or different.”
“MAKEUP IS THERE FOR YOU TO PLAY. IT’S THERE FOR YOU TO HAVE FUN WITH. IT SHOULD NEVER FEEL LIKE PRESSURE, AND IT SHOULD NEVER FEEL LIKE A UNIFORM.”
